Every morning when I wake up I'm truly excited about everything. I have an excitement for life, I can't help it. I guess you can say I've been very fortunate. This past week when I woke up daily to sunshine, perfect weather and a week full of new potential opportunities my excitement level turned into a passionate desire to take in every moment as I was living my dream, in Hollywood.
I packed two suitcases, brought all of my beauty loot (seriously this was not a travel sized ordeal), settled into my hotel room as if it was my second apartment, all shoes in a row, jewelry laid out – the only thing that was missing was Joe. Thinking: one day I will be bicostal. One day, or should I say we will be?
In between and after the work I had a blast with my LA besties, Jamie Stone, Sydne Summer and Nadine Jolie. Just as bright eyed as the first, second and third time I came out here, we caught up over cocktails poolside at my hotel, the Avalon in Beverly Hills, went shopping on Rodeo Drive, got blowouts at the DryBar, had my brows groomed at Anastasia Beverly Hills and attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
With the way things are going, looks like I'll be heading back again very soon!

One of my favorite things about ADAM is that everything I saw on the runway today will be made and sold. Most designers use the catwalk as their playground creating high fashion looks to showcase their creativity, which are later used as inspiration for the next season. Adam Lippes prides himself on creating collections that the everyday woman can actually wear. I attended the show in the American Express Skybox with my friend Sydne Summer of
"I'm inspired by the High Line in the Meat Packing District," Lippes commented. "I love watching how people who walk around the runway in the sky dress and wanted to make clothes for them"
Watching the show from the skybox today and looking down onto the runway watching the crowd snap pictures and look at the clothing in awe as models walked by them made me take a step back for a minute and realize how lucky I am to be a fashion insider. Everyday I'm reminded in one way or another and at this moment, I really appreciated the fashion and beauty industry and my job. Normally, I watch the shows from inside the tents and looking down at those people, it's such an honor.
